Kadyrov Fund to help affected by explosion of apartment building in Magnitogorsk
The families are going to receive financial and other assistance, reports the Fund.
Akhmat Kadyrov Regional Social Fund that is headed by the Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov’s mother is going to allocate financial and other assistance to the families of the deceased and those affected by the explosion of the apartment building in Magnitogorsk, reports TASS with reference to Chechnya's press and information minister Jambulat Umarov.
The official says this was ordered by the Republic’s Head Ramzan Kadyrov. Umarov visited hospitals and met the city’s Mayor Sergey Berdnikov and Minister of Social Relations in Chelyabinsk region Tatiana Nikitina.
“We discussed the outline of the upcoming event and the victims’ list. We’re going to make the list and assist on behalf of the Akhmat Kadyrov Regional Social Fund,” he said.
Umarov clarified this is primarily going to be the financial assistance. However, if it is necessary, the families may count on transportation to other regions or countries for treatment.
On December 31, 2018, the apartment building’s entrance hall located on Magnitogorsk’s Karl Marx prospect collapsed following the explosion. 39 persons died. The debris removal at the scene has been finished.
Seventeen Russian Governors are facing criminal prosecution for bribe-taking. The rest of them may be jailed any time for exceedance of official powers. At least, Nezygar (@russica2) Telegram channel claims so citing an unidentified source in the law enforcement structures. However, according to that source, it is currently prohibited to prosecute top-level officials. In 2018, the operatives had only searched offices of Vice Governors or Deputy Ministers – not their bosses. The CrimeRussia found out what supreme functionaries are on the hook of the law enforcement authorities and may be immediately indicted if the President orders so.
