Investigative Committee Head reveals Kerch shooter’s motive
The student was humiliated by his peers “based on property status.”
Fourth-year student of the Kerch Polytechnic College Vladislav Roslyakov, who staged shooting at school and bombed the canteen of the institution, was constantly humiliated “based on property status.” The Head of the ICR, Alexander Bastrykin, spoke about this at a lecture at the All-Russian State University of Justice, Interfax reports.
“It turns out that now it is important to wear American jeans. He bought them somewhere on the market and was constantly humiliated on this basis. And there is the result, the US reality happened,” said Bastrykin.
Recall Roslyakov blew up an improvised explosive device at the college and shot 21 people, 16 of whom were students, in October 2018. When the police arrived at the scene, Roslyakov had already committed suicide. According to the page on the shooter’s social network, he studied the Columbine school attack. US shooters also completed the crime committing suicide.
A monstrous and unexpected tragedy occurred in the village of Patrikeevo of the Ulyanovsk region. A 16-year-old teenager named Timerlan coldbloodedly slaughtered his entire family, including two 4-year-old twins. Then he committed suicide. Now teachers and experts are wondering what prompted a positive and kind teenager to become a monster overnight.
