Yesterday, the Investigation Department of the ICR in the Sverdlovsk region instituted proceedings in part 1 and 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code (Mass Riots). In the evening it became known that in this regard several participants and assaulters were detained by instigators, among them Dmitry Pestrikov (Dima-Gypsy), from a conflict between him and Oleg Shishov began slaughter. In addition to the case of riots, on the fact of shooting, which took place on September 3 at one of the private houses on the Delegatskaya street in Yekaterinburg, a criminal case under article Murder of two persons and Illicit arms trafficking was opened.
"There is no reason to charge and detain men, to whom came to handle associates: in actions there were seen signs of self-defense. In addition, the suspect turned himself in to law enforcement bodies, showing a willingness to cooperate," - explained investigators.
Recall that the former commando and businessman Oleg Shishov, who reflected the attack on his house, voluntarily surrendered to the police and wrote a statement about bringing to justice those who attacked him. According to investigators, on Saturday, 3 September, a group of aggressive persons, including at least 16 men armed with weapons and firearms, seven cars arrived at the scene. Conflict became, in which both sides used firearms. As a result, two attackers were seriously injured and later died in hospital.
The prosecutors want the former Russian Federation Council member to go to prison for 14 years instead of 9 and pay a 500-million-ruble ($8.8 million) fine instead of 70 million rubles ($1.2 million).
