Investigative Committee priority cases Directorate to take charge of Moscow City shootout case
All persons detained on suspicion of involvement in the conflict have only been questioned as witnesses so far.
The case of shootout in Oko tower of the Moscow City business complex has been referred to the Priority Cases Directorate of the Moscow ICR Main Investigations Directorate. This is ordered by Head of the ICR Main Investigations Directorate in Moscow Aleksandr Drymanov.
At the same time, according to the RIA Novosti’s source, the investigation has yet to detain any of those who had been brought to the police station after the shootout in Crystal Ball Room restaurant — they were questioned as witnesses. To recall, it was previously reported about six detainees allegedly involved in the incident.
The fight with shooting took place in the evening of November 17. During the conflict, which escalated into a bloody slam, six guards were injured, including two employees of the National Guard-led Okhrana FSUE, who were allegedly protecting a car of Inturist-Holding Company OJSC and accidentally ended up in the parking lot during the conflict. According to other information, the National Guard soldiers were providing security for one of the leaders of Izmaylovskaya OCG Dmitry Pavlov (Pavlik), who was celebrating his anniversary in the restaurant. Among the guests at the banquet, there were two well-known 'Slavic' thieves in law Oleg Shishkanov (Shishkan, Oleg Ramensky) and Sergey Aksenov (Aksen), as well as the leader of the Podolskaya OCG Sergey Lalakin aka Luchok and the billionaire off the Forbes list Gavril Yushvaev (known in the criminal world as Garik Makhachkala). Allegedly, the incident began when Yushvaev’s Mercedes Maybach drove straight to the red carpet. The businessman’s guards ignored the request to properly park the car and became the instigators of the conflict.
A criminal case under Attempted murder of two or more persons has been initiated into the shootout.
