New witnesses, who are ready to tell how much they pay for their relatives' detention in VIP-cells of Matrosskaya Tishina, could testify. This is reported by MK, suggesting that the scandalous story does not end with the dismissal of deputy head of the remand prison for operational work, Alan Gadzaonov. However, the edition does not disclose any details.
Recall that a check was conducted in the Matrosskaya Tishina detention center after information on VIP-cells appeared in the media. As a result, Alan Gadzaonov, the deputy chief of the detention center for operational work, lost his post, three more employees were brought to justice.
VIP-cells of Matrosskaya Tishina were discovered by members of the Public Monitoring Commission (PMC) of Moscow. The public was outraged that while some prisoners were kept in comfortable conditions, others were forced to tolerate unsanitary conditions and devastation in crowded cells one floor below.
