Homeless recidivist who cut throats of two men in park detained in St. Petersburg
Previously, the man was convicted of grievous bodily harm.
A suspect in the murder of two men in Polezhaevsky Park was detained in St. Petersburg. Two bodies with a throat cut were found on Marshal Zhukov Avenue on September 19.
According to the investigation, there was a conflict between two men who were drinking alcohol. In the midst of the scuffle, the suspect took out a knife and stabbed his opponent. That was when the third drinking companion appeared and saw the already dead man and his murderer holding a knife. The latter attacked him and stabbed him with the same murder weapon.
It is known that the detainee was previously convicted several times, including for intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm.
