Head of Astrakhan Federal Penitentiary Service forced prisoners to build him house
A criminal case was initiated against the official, he himself was sent under house arrest.
The Kirovsky District Court of Astrakhan placed the head of department of the Federal Penitentiary Service (FPS) of Russia in the Astrakhan region Alexey Kiktev under house arrest till May 24. This was reported by Interfax with reference to a source.
As an interlocutor of the agency told, prisoners were building a country house for Kiktev for a long time.
It is noted that earlier a criminal case under part 1 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Exceeding Official Powers) was initiated against Kiktev. There is no official confirmation of this information yet.
