Riot in Vladivostok

Vladivostok marvellously celebrated Halloween.

The Investigative Committee of Russia in Primorye has launched a  preliminary inquiry into a scuffle occurred between Rosgvardia officers and visitors of the bar in the center of Vladivostok. This is being reported by IA PrimeMedia with reference to the website of the Investigative Committee in the region.

On the night of October 31 to November 1, extra-departmental guards responded to a call and arrived at the entertainment facility to dismantle a scuffle. While the guards were inside the building, a few of hooligans outside climbed the roof of the police car and started jumping on it and taking pictures - with one of them having broken a windscreen with his feet.

Law enforcement officers who went outside tried to detain the troublemakers, however the latter opposed, and the guardians of order had to fire in the air from a service gun. One of the hooligans managed to escape; his identity is to be determined. The other offenders are detained and taken to the police station №4.

According to the Investigative Committee, forensic examination into affray and public affront of Rosgvardia representatives is being carried out. Witnesses are being interrogated. The procedural decision is to be adopted following the examination.
