Grozny man shows fake FSB ID after 2 years of hiding from justice for fatal hit-and-run
Ever since the high-profile road accident, Khamzat Magomadov, 22, has been hiding in Chechnya.
The man that ran over two pedestrians on the Berezhkovskaya Embankment in a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren has been detained in Moscow with an FSB ID, said the Telegram Channel Mash.
The high-profile accident occurred two years ago. A student of the Grozny-based Academy of Justice, Khamzat Magomadov, 22, ran over a woman and a man who were crossing the road. The woman died.
Magomadov left his expensive car with the number plate "666" and ran from the accident scene. According to some reports, he had been hiding in Chechnya all this time.
Until now that he got pulled over for violation of traffic rules in Moscow. The man introduced himself as an FSB officer and produced a fake ID. An inspection has been started.
Every big Russian city has ‘untouchable' people who are beyond the reach of the law enforcement authorities – generals, judges, mayors, etc. Despite overwhelming evidence sufficient to prosecute them, such persons cannot be busted without authorization from the federal center. There is also another type of corrupt officials: their deeds are well-known – but these people are so generous, hospitable, and understanding that no one is willing to arrest them.
