Grandson of Khabarovsk Region’s ex-governor acquitted after road accident at speed of 309 km/h
Expertise of the victim established the speed of the car was 309 km/h.
The Perovsky district court acquitted Igor Ishayev, the grandson of the ex-governor of Khabarovsk Region who has rammed three cars on Moscow Ring Road at speed over 300 kilometers per hour, REN-TV channel reports. Ishayev's friend Murad Balakerimov suffered serious injuries in the road accident. The court considered him as a victim in the case on the accident. However Ishayev and Balakerimov decided that they did not have claims to each other. The court issued a decree on diversion.
The road accident happened on March 15, 2017. Ishayev speeded in Mercedes car over 270 kilometers per hour, when he crashed into Nissan moving in the passing direction, and then Kia Rio car and MAH TGS truck. The truck turned over. After the collision the speedometer of Ishayev’s car showed 225 kilometers per hour.
According to the lawyer of the woman who was injured in the road accident, examination showed that the speed of the car of the ex-governor’s grandson was 309 kilometers per hour. The a lawyer noted that the judgment about diversion does not guarantee anything yet.
