Gelandewagen seized from son of Lukoil vice-president
The car was passed to the Federal Property Management Agency, as the court had considered the car a means of committing the crime as well as material evidence.
The bailiff arrested Mercedes Gelandewagen belonging to Ruslan Shamsuarov, the son of Lukoil vice-president. The confiscation was done by decision of the Gagarinsky District Court.
We shall remind that last October, the court decided to withdraw the Mercedes Gelandewagen as it had considered the car a means of committing the crime and material evidence.
The car was given to an authorized representative of the Moscow department of Federal Property Management Agency.
Shamsuarov has also paid an administrative fine in the amount of 2500 rubles ($44).
As the CrimeRussia wrote before, in May 2016, a Mercedes Benz Gelandewagen was trying to get away from three traffic police cars in Moscow for several hours, creating emergency situations. The rich kids were filming the pursuit and broadcasting it live via Periscope, which made the incident widely known to the public.
The high-profile trial resulted in one of the racers, Abduvahob Majidov, acquitted, Viktor Uskov and Ruslan Shamsuarov sentenced to correctional labor, and Mara Bagdasaryan put in custody for 10 days, although she was a witness in the case.

In the last two years, the management of SK Balt-Stroy Limited Liability Company was involved into two criminal cases pertaining to embezzlements in the Ministry of Culture (Restorers’ case) and embezzlements during the construction of Vladimir Putin’s residence in Novo-Ogarevo. However, this hasn’t affected the company’s business affairs in any way. Governmental contracts with SK Balt-Stroy are extended on a regular basis. Structures affiliated with the company have been recently awarded a contract to restore the Kremlin towers. The CrimeRussia was figuring out why do the disreputable restorers still continue working in the Kremlin?
