FSO detaines two FBK lawyers on Rublevka
Vyacheslav Gimadi and Alexander Golovach studied the register of the Moscow Region “palaces” owners.
Employees of the Federal Security Service (FSO) detained lawyers from the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK) Vyacheslav Gimadi and Alexander Golovach and brought them to the Barvikhinsky MIA Department, Alexey Navalny reported on his Twitter page. According to the oppositionist, “the lawyers did the usual work of analyzing the owners of elite palaces on the basis of the public register.”
“I and @aa_golovach were detained on Rublevka by FSO officers on two Fords, with dogs and special equipment, [we were] taken to the Barvikhinsky police department. The police officers do not see grounds for detention but the FSO officers convincingly ask them “to charge these with something,” writes Gimadi from the police station.
Three hours later, the lawyers still did not get any explanation for the detention.
In the 2000s, Western Europe had welcomed refugees from Chechnya. In 2018, it has finally realized the criminal potential of dozens of thousands of mountain dwellers who had left their native land because of reprisals and economic disorder. Many of those who had fought against the Russian army in the first and second Chechen wars and their grown-up children skilled in weapons and practicing martial arts have united into street gangs. The CrimeRussia was figuring out why the Germans and Austrians don’t feel themselves comfortable in their countries anymore.
