FSIN reported about condition of drug-poisoned prisoners
One the two survivors is in critical condition, the probability of death is high.
One of the two prisoners hospitalized after a drug overdose was rescued, while the condition of the second is critical. The prisoner has little chance of recovery, Deputy Director of the FSIN Valery Maksimenko told the Znak publication.
“The doctors’ report says that there was a “poisoning with a substance of unknown etymology.” That is, it will be established during the examination after autopsy,” Maksimenko said.
According to him, the examination will last for a month or even a month and a half. A source in the law enforcement bodies said earlier that the four inmates got poisoned with methadone. Maksimenko explained that the substance could be soaked in fabric passed with a food package, for example, socks.
All four prisoners were held in the Matrosskaya Tishina pre-trial detention center on suspicion of committing drugs related crimes.
