FSB to provide direct evidence of Paul Whelan's espionage
The detained American spy denies any involvement in intelligence services.
FSB representatives say they plan to present evidence of espionage activities of US citizen Paul Whelan in the near future.
All information, including video and audio files, has been collected by counterintelligence officers. A source told Rosbalt that the videos show Whelan, as well as his requests and negotiations, “which make it clear that he was actually engaged in collecting secret data, acting in the interests of one of the US intelligence services.”
Paul Whelan was detained at the Metropol Hotel at the end of last year when receiving the medium with secret data. The American denies the charges.
