FSB detains member of Murtazaliev's gang in Moscow. Kadyrov calls him brother
The FSB ambushed Magomed Rashidov, known in criminal circles as Maga Italyanets.
Magomed Rashidov, aka Maga Italyanets, is detained in Moscow on Thursday, August 16. This is reported by Mash Telegram channel.
FSB officers ambushed at the Belovezhskaya Street – Murtazaliev's right-hand's way was known in advance. Mercedes and Infinity cars were stopped. Four friends of Rashidov were checked in the police department and soon released, but he remained in custody.
Maga Italyanets, according to the channel, is suspected of participating in the Golodrantsy gang. According to the siloviki, he is the right-hand man of the former head of the Dagestani Pension Fund branch, as well as the leader of the gang, Sagid Murtazaliev. The latter is now on the run; he is accused of financing terrorists.
As The CrimeRussia had previously written, Murtazaliev was arrested in absentia and put on the international wanted list on September 9, 2015. The authority of Murtazaliev as Pension Fund head was officially terminated on November 12, 2017.
The former official is charged with several articles - part 1 of Art. 205 (Assistance to Terrorist Activities), part 3 of Art. 317 (Encroachment on the Life of a Law Enforcement Officer), part 2 of Art. 105 (Murder by prior agreement). If found guilty, he faces up to 15 years of imprisonment.
