FSB asks court to extend arrest for Nikandrov, Maksimenko, and Lamonov
The FSB Investigations Directorate asks 3 more months of arrest for the senior ICR officers accused of taking bribes from thief in law Shakro Molodoy.
The applications for the extension of arrest for first Deputy Head of the ICR Main Investigations Directorate in Moscow General Nikandrov and Head of the Main Directorate for ICR Interagency Cooperation and Internal Security Colonel Maksimenko are to be reviewed on March 15. As noted by Press Secretary of the Lefortovo Court of Moscow Ekaterina Krasnova, the application in respect of Maksimenko's deputy Aleksandr Lamonov will be considered by the court the day before.
Let us recall that the senior ICR officers were arrested in July 2016. According to the investigation, Head of the Main Directorate for ICR Interagency Cooperation and Internal Security Mikhail Maksimenko, his deputy Aleksandr Lamonov, and Deputy Head of the IC Main Investigations Directorate in Moscow Denis Nikandrov had promised to mitigate the charges and thus set up the release of one of Shakro Molodoy's confidants Andrey Kochuykov nicknamed Italyanets ('Italian') in exchange for 1 million dollars. However, in July 2016, the were arrested.
Major of the Operative Unit No. 6 in the South-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow, Kirill Dvoretskov, is the nephew of General Boris Pishchulin, who used to head the police of the South-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow.
