Former snowboard champion of Russia goes missing in Chelyabinsk region
It’s been a week since Andrey Palkin has been searched for.
Starting from September 4, relatives and police - along with volunteers - have been searching for 26-year-old Andrey Palkin in the Chelyabinsk region’s Zlatoust. Palkin is a former snowboard champion of Russia. The last time he was seen was when he was leaving home on Gagarin prospect on his day off, reports Zlatoust.info.
The professional athlete’s mother says that on September 5, Andrey was supposed to have his working day, however he did not appear and had not warned anyone. The woman added that she had suspected something wrong the day before when she was calling his son - he was drunk and was walking - judging by the sound of cars - along some highway.
The mother says the son did not tell her where he was. In a while, the phone was out of range.
Volunteers are spreading directions on social networks. Andrey Palkin was wearing black sneakers, black jeans, white and grey jacket with labels. In case someone has any information on his whereabout, report to 89080812264 (mother) or 102 (police).
The media office of Russia’s MIA in the Chelyabinsk region promised to specify the information on the searches of the young man later.
