Former head of Ministry of Health of Penza Region suspected of rape
The official was fired in late April.
The former Minister of Health of the Penza Region, Vladimir Stryuchkov, was suspected of rape, RIA Novosti and TASS reported, referring to sources. The regional ICR’s Directorate did not comment on the information.
Stryuchkov became the head of the Penza Ministry of Health in 1999. A year later he became the head physician of the Kamensky Central District Hospital, and in 2005 was again in charge of the Ministry of Health and appointed deputy chairman of the regional government. On April 29, 2019, he was fired.
Russia’s deposit insurance agency asked the court to involve an offshore company Clement Glory in a case against a fugitive banker and an ex-owner of Vneshprombank Georgy Bedzhamov. Clement Glory turned out to hold Bedzhamov’s real estate in Great Britain in pawn, reports RBC.
