Former FSB lieutenant colonel shot in forest near Ivanov
According to a preliminary lead of the investigation, the retired officer of the FSB in the Ivanovo region was killed in an accident on a hunting trip. The suspect has been detained.
September 1, a corpse of a man with gunshot wounds was found in a forest in Zavolzhsky district, Ivanovo region.
As IvanovoNews reports, the victim was a resident of Ivanov and a former employee of the regional FSB born in 1976, who resigned from law enforcement bodies for seniority and health reasons.
Presumably, the former FSB lieutenant colonel was shot from a shotgun. At the moment, it is known that he had visited his friends to hunt together. The edition notes that several bottles of alcohol have been found on the scene.
