Former commander of aerial intelligence of Donetsk People's Republic Goodwin convicted of fraud
A long-standing dispute over title over a mansion on the Gogol Boulevard in the center of Moscow has been completed.
Moscow’s Meshchansky District Court sentenced a lawyer and former commander of aerial intelligence of the DPR, Dmitry Lysakovsky (call sign - Goodwin), and businessman Pyotr Chikhun to six years in a general regime penal colony for the attempted real estate fraud. Previously convicted businessman Mikhail Chernov, who for many years had fought with former deputy head of Interregional Disribution Grid Company Center Artem Kuranov for the right to premises in a mansion on the Gogol Boulevard in central Moscow, was sentenced to 11 years in prison.
The investigators calls lawyer Yevgeny Ryzhov, who had fled to the United States, and entrepreneur Georgy Pirumov the convicts’s accomplices. Pirumov was the only one who pleaded guilty, his case was considered according to special procedure. The court sentenced him to a year and eight months; in May 2018, the businessman was released.
According to the investigation, Chernov, with the help of the lawyers and Chikhun, illegally seized the premises on the Gogol Boulevard, and then resold them for $ 7.5 million to an offshore company. Detentions prevented the transfer of real estate rights.
