Footballers Kokorin and Mamaev beat two Ministry of Industry and Trade officials
As a result of the fight, Department Director Denis Pak lost a tooth; the police is conducting a check.
Alexander Kokorin, striker of St. Petersburg football team Zenit, and Pavel Mamaev, midfielder of Krasnodar FC, beat the director of the automotive and railway engineering department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Denis Pak, and the CEO of FSUE NAMI, Sergey Gaysin, in a cafe on the Arbat Street, 360 reported.
“The victims have already filed a complaint with the police over the incident,” the ministry said.
The MIA confirmed that it has started a check over the brawl. According to the Telegram channel Mash, Pak has bruises and a broken tooth. The footballers called the official “some Chinese” and told him to “go home” to keep order.
The Russian Football Union said that the fight does has nothing to do with the organization, and it will not impose sanctions on the football players.
The detention is related to the investigation into the abduction and murder of Tatyana Sidorova, a deputy of the Ramenskoye District Legislature, and three members of her family, which occurred back in 2012.
