Footballer Smolov demands $94.100 from insurers through court
The athlete failed to get compensation for a BMW damaged in an accident.
The attacker of Lokomotiv and the Russian national team Fyodor Smolov filed a lawsuit against the company Alfastrakhovanie with the Nikulinsky Court of Moscow for a repair of 6 million rubles ($94.100). Also, the athlete demanded to pay the size of the lost commercial value - more than a million rubles and a penalty of 124 thousand rubles, according to MK.
On August 1, the Smolov's car crashed into a roadblock at high speed. When eyewitnesses gathered at the scene, the driver was no longer there. Later Smolov admitted that he was at the wheel of his BMW M5 First Edition that night. On August 9, the player was deprived of driver’s license.
He paid for the repair.
