Footballer Arshavin's wife lodges complaint with FSB against husband
The applicant spoke about the threats from the security forces.
The spouse of the former Russian national football team player Andrey Arshavin, Alisa, filed a statement with the FSB for Moscow and the Moscow region against her husband, who allegedly threatened to put her in jail. At one of the meetings with her husband, he was accompanied by unknown persons with FSB documents, who also put pressure. Alisa Arshavina demanded to check the legality of their actions, Super.ru reports.
“Alisa was interviewed. Then someone called her. Now we are waiting for the results,” lawyer of Arshavina Alexander Dobrovinsky told Sports Express.
On February 12, Arshavin’s wife filed a complaint about threats from her husband to the police in St. Petersburg. In late February, the couple begins the divorce process.
It concerns entrepreneur Dmitry Motorin, Boris Usherovich, a co-owner of the Group of Companies 1520, and Novoe Vremya board member, Ivan Stankevich. Motorin is accused of giving a bribe on an especially large scale, and Stankevich and Usherovich are charged with bribe-taking.
