Female activist who was hit in stomach diagnosed with head injury and concussion
The woman complained about headache and insomnia.
Daria Sosnovskaya who was hit in the stomach by a policeman during the rally on August 10 in the center of Moscow has been diagnosed with closed craniocerebral injury, concussion of the brain and head’s soft tissue bruise. This has been reported by a head of the human rights group Agora Pavel Chikov on Twitter.
He says the woman was examined by doctors of a hospital #67 where she had been taken to on August 12. After the detention, Sosnovskaya complained about headache and insomnia.
Videos posted on the web show the woman being carried by two law enforcers. Later, one of them hits her in the stomach.
The incident became high-profile. A lot of media, public figures and celebrities called MIA to punish the policeman who hit the activist.
Law enforcement did not officially publish the data, having stated that there was inspection ongoing. Baza reported that the man is Sergey Tsyplakov, but MIA denied this information.
