Federal TV channel host apologized for wish to Dagestanis to shoot "at home"

The host of the TV channel Moscow 24 Ivan Bazanov publicly apologized to the Dagestanis for insult on the air. He stated that he was sorry if his remarks had offended someone. He posted the video message in his Instagram account.
“This morning I made one incorrect statement on the air. I would like to apologize to everyone who were offended by it. I respect all representatives of the nations living in Russia,” said Bazanov.

Commenting on the shootout that the Dagestanis staged in the center of the capital, Bazanov expressed outrage at the fact that people from the southern republic organize criminal fights in Moscow and not “at home”. The record with the TV host's comment quickly spread in social networks. After that, the Dagestani diaspora expressed outrage with the phrase of the journalist, and the TV host himself began to receive threats against himself.
Recall the shooting incident occurred in one of the metropolitan cafes. A dispute broke out between visitors from Dagestan, at some point an unknown man grabbed a pistol and started shooting at the offender. The man died on the spot.
According to one of the versions, criminal authorities organized a meeting in a cafe. The police have currently detained two suspects. Now investigators establish the exact circumstances of the incident.
