Far Eastern MMA Champion detained by FSB
Alexander Efimov and other athletes are suspected of illegal possession of weapons.
This morning, FSB agents with the support of Rosgvardia conducted several detentions in the city of Artem. On one of the photos taken during the special operation, it is clear that among the detainees was MMA champion of the Far East Alexander Efimov. This is reported by PrimaMedia.
Operatives conducted an operation near the bus stop Babushkina. In addition to Efimov, other sportsmen, sambo wrestlers and sumoists were detained, some of them did not reach adulthood. During the search, there were confiscated machine guns and cartridges to them, as well as some parts of the weapon and a large number of mobile phones. In addition, according to some reports, athletes could be related to illicit drug trafficking.
Representatives of law enforcement agencies have not yet commented on the incident.
According to information from the official website of the Primorye federation of SBE, Alexander Efimov is a candidate for master of sports in SBE MMA, champion of Far Eastern Federal District and champion of Primorsky Krai.
