Ex-Deputy of Tuva received two years for transferring hashish
In 2015, the former people's choice was detained with 300 grams of hashish.
The court in Tuva sentenced ex-Deputy of the Republic Eduard Dagba-Lamu to two years of standard regime penal colony for illegal transportation of hashish. The press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia local authority reports about it.
As it is said in case papers, the man in 2015 purchased more than 300 grams of the pressed hashish without sales objective. On August 17 the same year Dagba-Lama “performed illegal transportation of drug, driving the individual car” and he was detained by the staff of the Federal Service of the Russian Federation for the Control of Drug Trafficking and Federal Security Service.
The politician were incriminated part 2 of Art. 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Illegal Storage and Transportation without drug sales objective, in a large size). The maximum sanction under this article provides 10-year term of deprivation of freedom.
