Ex-deputy head of Temryuk brawls on the streets
Valentina Otroshko was accused of disobeying the police. In total, ten protocols were drawn up about the official, which were sent to the magistrates’ court for consideration.
Former vice-mayor of Temryuk, Krasnodar Territory, Valentin Otroshko was arrested for ten days for disobeying police officers, TASS reports. Other materials concerning him, including for drunk driving, were sent to court.
Otroshko was detained in a drunken state after his dismissal from his post. He was driving his car in the opposite lane. When the Traffic Police patrol asked the former official to stop, he ignored the police’s order. The detainee chased from the police. The official refused to undergo the medical examination.
On Friday, October 12, the court examined the materials submitted for consideration on disobedience to the lawful order of a police officer (part 1 of Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation) and found the former vice-mayor guilty, sentencing him to 10 days of administrative arrest. In total, ten protocols were drawn up against Otroshko, which were sent to the magistrates’ court for consideration.
The Rossiya 24 TV channel published a video with Otroshko, handcuffed to a battery in the police department. The cameraman accused him of defecating on the spot.
The Temryuk Mayor's office said that the dismissal from the post caused an "emotional breakdown."
