England fan missing: his credit card has been used in Moscow
Relatives of the Brit ask for help.
English fan Douglas Moreton disappeared in Russia. One of Douglas Moreton's relatives wrote on his pages that the man was last seen on July 6 in Samara, England played with Sweden in the quarterfinals match. However, there is every reason to believe that the man managed to get to Moscow.
The fan hit the headlines ahead of England's clash with Panama in Nizhny Novgorod at the end of last month after traveling more than 2000 miles to watch the match but forgot his ticket.
He was last seen in Samara and was meant to be in Moscow by now; however, he has not been in touch with family or friends and they are very concerned. It is well known that after the match in Samara his credit card has been used in Moscow.
The British Embassy confirmed the information about the missing of the compatriot. Diplomats appealed to law enforcement agencies.
Relatives described him as around 5ft in tall, having a Bristol accent, wearing glasses and rarely being cleanly shaven.
England lost to Croatia in the semifinal match (1:2).
