Elista: four police officers fired for fighting with officers of ICR and National Guard

In the capital of Kalmykia, the city of Elista, four police officers were fired for fighting with employees of the ICR and the National Guard in the Uralan entertainment center. Eight senior officers were brought to strict disciplinary responsibility, the MIA’s press service reports.
Earlier, the media reported that on March 24, the head of the local criminal investigation directorate, his deputy, two operatives engaged in a fight with three employees of the republican ICR’s directorate and the SOBR special forces. The ICR launched a pre-investigation probe, while the MIA sent a representative of the main internal security department to the city to monitor the service probe. Its materials were handed over to the investigating bodies for a procedural decision.
