The Nizhny Novgorod branch of the United Russia party has excluded Krasheninnikov from the local political council, but his deputy’s powers will remain, according to the website of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of United Russia.
Denis Moskvin, press secretary of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of United Russia, noted that “the deputy is fully aware of his guilt and understands that he has caused reputational damage not only to himself but also to the entire party structure.”
Krasheninnikov himself called the punishment "fair and deserved" and apologized. “I am aware and understand perfectly well that no human emotions and motives cannot be ruder in response to rudeness,” he added.
On the video spread in social networks, the woman claims that the deputy scratched her car. The official refused to wait for traffic police officers, pulled a shovel out of his car, and went towards the local resident who was filming him on the phone, showering her with insults and threats.
