Drunken policeman runs over two old women in Chuvashia, one dies
The officer has been detained, removed from office and is going to be dismissed.
A drunken policeman, 41, ran over two old women in Kia Rio and fled, reports ProGorod Cheboksary. The accident occurred at about 5 pm on 19 January in Yadrin, Chuvash Republic. One of the victims, 79, died on the spot. The other pensioner was hospitalized with multiple injuries.
It was later established that the man was an officer of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Yadrin district. According to investigators, he ran over two women walking along the edge of the road in the same direction. The officer was detained and removed from office. He is prosecuted for a DWI accident that caused the death of a person (part 4 of Art. 264).
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Chuvashia stated that an official check was underway. The officer is going to be dismissed from the internal affairs, while his superiors are going to be disciplined.
Major of the Operative Unit No. 6 in the South-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow, Kirill Dvoretskov, is the nephew of General Boris Pishchulin, who used to head the police of the South-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow.
