A law enforcement officer committed a car accident in the south-east of Moscow. As a result of the collision, a woman was injured; the policeman himself was drunk. This was reported by the press service of the Interior Ministry of Russia in Moscow on Monday.
The incident occurred on November 18 at the intersection of Privolnaya Street and Lermontovsky Avenue. In his spare time, a district local police officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Basmanny district of Moscow, the captain of the police, was driving a Volvo-XC90. At the intersection of the streets, the police officer, ignoring the red traffic light, drove to the intersection and collided with a Volkswagen car. As a result of the accident, a woman was injured. The representative of the press service added that the police officer, who arranged the accident, was drunk.
Now the guilty police officer will be fired from the Ministry of Internal Affairs for negative reasons. He will be brought to responsibility, provided for by law, and the policemen will be brought to strict disciplinary responsibility.
