Drunk judge hits woman in Krasnodar and tries to cover up road accident

Judge of the Krasnodar garrison military court Arsen Krikorov hit a 18-year-old woman while drunk driving. He threatened the road accident’s eyewitnesses with arrest, reports Bad news public.
The road accident took place on December 21. Krikorov hit the woman at the crossroads of Turgenev and Stakhanovskaya streets. The victim was crossing the road on the crosswalk when the traffic light was yellow - this gave her a priority to cross the roadway. However, she was hit by Krikorov’s car at the last road stripe. Krikorov didn’t manage to react properly to the traffic on the road.
The judge’s car was blocked by other drivers. Krikorov got out of his car and started showing them his judge’s badge, threatening them with arrest. Later, police officers arrived at the scene and let the drunk official go. It reported the case failed to gain traction, despite the fact that it had been a month since the road accident.
According to the data published on the website of the Krasnodar garrison military court, Arsen Krikorov was appointed the judge by a decree of the President on July 31, 2009. Head of the Investigative Committee of Russia Aleksander Bastrykin - with consent of the Higher Judges’ Qualifications Board - is supposed to decide whether the criminal case against Krikorov is going to be initiated. The court has not commented upon the incident, so far.
