Driver stabs pedestrian to death in Moscow region’s Mytishchi
A brawl ensued, during which the driver stabbed his opponent in the neck with a knife. The latter died of his injuries.
In the Moscow region’s Mytishchi, a Volvo driver, who stabbed a pedestrian to death, has been detained. The victim was crossing the road against the traffic lights.
The conflict between the driver and the pedestrian arose on the afternoon of November 16, a law enforcement source told TASS. A brawl ensued, during which the driver stabbed his opponent in the neck with a knife. The latter died of his injuries. The driver has been detained.
According to representative of the ICR Main Investigations Directorate in the Moscow region, Olga Vradiy, a 68-year-old local businessman suspected of killing a pedestrian. Investigators are interrogating him.
According to the press service of the MIA Main Directorate in the Moscow region, the conflict between two men, one of whom later died, occurred on Kominterna Street. A local resident born in 1951 was detained on suspicion of committing the murder. A criminal case has been instituted under the relevant article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
