Doctors diagnosed urticaria with oppositionist Navalny
The blogger was also examined and consulted by the main immunologist-allergist in Moscow.
Doctors have examined blogger Alexey Navalny, who was hospitalized from a detention center to the 64th city hospital, and diagnosed allergic reaction, known as urticaria, Interfax writes.
“Navalny entered the emergency department on Sunday around 11 am. He was examined by a general practitioner who made a preliminary diagnosis - a “generalized allergic reaction, the urticaria,” the agency quotes the doctor’s commentary.
According to him, the man was also examined and consulted by the main immunologist-allergist in Moscow, who diagnosed contact dermatitis in the area of face and angioedema of the periorbital region, which provoked swelling.
According to the doctor, now the state of Navalny is "satisfactory, with positive dynamics," and all indicators are stable.
On Monday, July 29, the issue of discharge will be resolved, the doctor added.
In late July, the court decided to arrest Navalny for repeated violation of the procedure for holding a rally. The blogger was supposed to spend 30 days in prison, but he was hospitalized on Sunday.
