Dirty snow covered with clean one before 2019 Universiade
Sakhalin faced the same accomplishment before the Children of Asia international games.
Bags with pure snow were brought to the center of Krasnoyarsk to cover the coal dust. Previously, Internet users have noticed how the streets of the city were arrayed with felled timber. Local authorities are engaged in improvement because of the upcoming Universiade.
“That’s what the Universiade is doing! And asphalt is laid in February. The houses are painted at -30. And those that are not painted, are closed with banners. Trees appeared. The White-White snow is brought....” user Anton Palych wrote on Facebook.
Winter Universiade will be held in Krasnoyarsk from 2 to 12 March.

In the seaport of Nevelsk on Sakhalin, coastal workers also camouflaged coal dust with snow instead of taking it out of the city. “The brigade decided to simplify the task for itself and simply dug up the snow,” the port authorities explained.
It concerns entrepreneur Dmitry Motorin, Boris Usherovich, a co-owner of the Group of Companies 1520, and Novoe Vremya board member, Ivan Stankevich. Motorin is accused of giving a bribe on an especially large scale, and Stankevich and Usherovich are charged with bribe-taking.

If the court upholds the stance of the state prosecution, the once-influential criminal ‘authority’ may be convicted to almost 25 years behind bars. In reality, this translates into a life term for the legend of criminal St. Petersburg.
