Defendants of Khovanskoe cemetery case sentenced to three years of imprisonment
The convicted will serve the sentence in а standard regime penal colony.
The criminal proceeding against five participants of a fight in the Khovanskoe cemetery finished in the Sherbinskiy District Court. They have been sentenced to three years in a standard regime penal colony each, Moskva agency with reference to the court reports.
In particular, Shoimordan Ahmadov, Hojikurbon Buriev, Rahmuddin Sadurdinov, Dzhomi Chakalov and Dilovar Yunusov are condemned.
Prosecution asked 3.5 years of imprisonment in a standard regime penal colony for each. The court softened punishment for the accused, and lifted charges of willful damage and intentional slight bodily injury for them.
The mass brawl with 200 people involved took place in May 2016.
Among the accused there were alleged organizers of the fight Alexander Bocharnikov and former head of the territorial Department № 3 of the State-financed institution Ritual Yuri Chabuel, and a former police officer Nikita Moshienko. They are accused of committing crimes: organization of mass disturbance, participation in riots, causing grievous injury, which caused death of two people, exceeding official authority, which caused serious consequences.
Yet another scandal involving Boris Dubrovsky is looming in the Chelyabinsk region. The Governor is determined to resettle Uraim and Severny Klyuch villages against the will of their residents. Kolyma Governor Sergei Nosov suggested Dubrovsky to drive the people into bright future with iron hands. In fact, the future is bright mostly for Nosov and Dubrovsky – not for the resettled villagers.
