Deceased GRU special soldier Nikita Belyankin posthumously awarded medal for courage and bravery. A representative of the Union of Paratroopers handed it over to Nikita’s younger brother, Timofey. The award ceremony was attended by the parents of deceased Nikita.
Nikita Belyankin died on June 2 in Moscow region’s Putilkovo when he stood up for a young man who was beaten by a crowd of men. During the fight, Nikita was stabbed in the heart; he died on the spot.
Investigative Committee reported that they were 9 defendants in the case; all of them have been detained.
Presumably, it concerns the US response to Ukraine’s help in the investigation against Joseph Biden, Trump’s main rival in the 2020 presidential election, who allegedly was in collusion with Kiev during the previous campaign.
