Decapitated body of collector with his legs sawn off was found in debtor's apartment in Moscow
The Moscow investigators initiated a criminal investigation on the brutal murder of a man. Dismembered corpse of the victim was found in the apartment of the debtor. According to preliminary data, the victim worked as a collector.
The crime was committed in one of the houses on the Tashkent Street in Vykhino area. There, on Tuesday, the landlady found a dismembered body of an unknown man in her home. At the scene, her son born in 1987 was also present. He was taken to hospital with cutting wounds on his neck, the official website of the ICR Main Directorate in Moscow said.
According to press reports, the deceased young man’s head was cut off and his lower limbs were sawn off. The son of the lady, who owns the apartment, is suspected of murder. According to the young man, on Monday, the collector came to his place of residence and began to extort money. As a result, the debtor was killed and dismembered, said Bloknot, citing a source in law enforcement.
According to preliminary information, the suspect has a mental disorder. It is possible that the story about the collector is his fiction and the murder motive was different.
Suspect's mother discovered human debris, when she returned from work. The son of the woman is in inappropriate condition. He pushed his mother into a back room and closed her there. However, the woman was able to dial 911, and the police arrived to the crime scene.
The criminal case was initiated under part. 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code (Murder). The investigators interrogate neighbors and possible eye-witnesses of the incident. A forensic examination was assigned.
Viktor Zakharchenko, who is accused of embezzlement of 4 million rubles (~70.000 USD) from the funds of the bank Moskovskoye Ipotechnoye Agentstvo (Moscow Mortgage Agency), was placed under house arrest.
Officer of the FSB in Moscow and the region Pyotr Koryugin participated in the extortion of 2 million rubles ($34.800) from an Azerbaijani citizen, and he warned a drug dealer about a forthcoming search for 300.000 rubles ($5200).
