Debtor claims he’s “USSR citizen”, threatens bailiff with ax
The man has been charged.
A criminal case has been opened against a man in Vladivostok who refused to pay a loan and threatened the bailiff, reported the press service of the Federal Bailiffs Service in the Primorsky Region.
According to the agency, the bailiff found the deadbeat and tried to arrest him. The debtor refused to recognize his debt to a Russian bank and said he was “a citizen of the USSR”. Then he began to threaten the bailiff with an ax.
The man has been charged under part 1 of Art. 318 of the Criminal Code (threating with violence to a government official who is performing his / her official duties).
