All this time, lawyers did not give up on attempt to help his client avoid the return into the penal settlement. Defenders of Yulia Kiseleva and she wrote to the court a request to postpone the execution of the sentence at a later date and allow a woman to educate her four-year daughter.
- In July, the Taishet City Court granted the advocates' petition on the postponement of punishment until her child would become 14 years of age. The convict was released from serving a sentence in a penal colony and placed on record in the criminal-executive inspection of Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Irkutsk region. In late August, the condemned notified the inspection of moving to another region. At the moment it is known that the convicted has registered on a preliminary inspection in another region in the near future, her case will be transferred to the community, - said Olga Hindanova, the Head of the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Irkutsk region.
Earlier, during the hearings, it was stated that at the time of serving the sentence Yulia Kiseleva's minor daughter will live with her grandparents, the Irkutsk Duma Deputy Zhanna Eseva. It is known that before the fatal accident Yulia Kiseleva was registered in St. Petersburg, but was living in Irkutsk.
Recall, the daughter of the Irkutsk Deputy, 27-year-old Yulia Kiseleva, on the night of July 27, 2015 sat at the wheel of her Mercedes in a drunken state and arranged an accident in the center of Irkutsk, where two men were killed. On the passenger seat there was the Lieutenant Colonel Albert Sokolov – the Head of the Criminal Investigation in the Leninsky district Department of the Irkutsk police. He died at the accident scene from multiple injuries, and Denis Matveev, who was behind the wheel of the jeep, died in hospital.
The prosecutors want the former Russian Federation Council member to go to prison for 14 years instead of 9 and pay a 500-million-ruble ($8.8 million) fine instead of 70 million rubles ($1.2 million).
