Dagestan: Unknown gunman shots people at Maslenitsa celebration
According to preliminary data, five men have died; several more have been injured.
An unknown gunman opened fire in Dagestan’s Kizlyar at Maslenitsa celebration. This is reported by information agencies citing sources.
Interfax reports that five people have died as a result of the incident. RIA Novosti clarifies that four more have been injured, and the attacker has been eliminated.
According to preliminary information, the injured persons include three National Guard officers. A source also reports that the attacker had come to the celebration with his wife, but then she ran away, and he was the only shooter. Allegedly, the shooter’s victims were women.
Alexander Kravtsov, Oleg Varlamov (Varkamov) and Mikhail Marasigyan (Marsikyan) have been charged with drugs and psychotropic substances trafficking. A citizen of Ukraine, Yuri Tribusyan (Tribasyan) was also detained.
Documents on granting rewards to the Red Army soldiers during the Great Patriotic War emerged on the website of the Ministry of Defense in the public domain. Financial incentives were provided for special military services including wrecked tanks.
