The idea of closing the night institutions was supported by sportsmen Nurmagomedov and Sadulaev.

After the murder of Rosgvardiya Lieutenant Murad Ramazanov in Makhachkala’s club Best, Dagestan suggested closing nightclubs. Such a statement was made by UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and Olympic wrestling champion Abdulrashid Sadulaev.

“A question for my fellow countrymen: what benefits do these nightclubs bring to our society?” Nurmagomedov wrote on his Instagram. He also published a video clip of a Dagestani blogger who called for the clubs' closure.

The idea was supported by another Dagestani athlete Sadulaev: “In these places, tragedies occur too often. There is nothing here except harm.” According to him, the idea of the closure is supported by “social activists and the people of Dagestan.”

On the night of November 18, 26-year-old Rosgvardiya employee Murad Ramazanov died in a shootout near the Best Restaurant Club, trying to prevent a fight. The Lieutenant died on the spot from multiple gunshot wounds. The main suspect is world champion in hand-to-hand fighting Shahban Machiev, who was wounded by the Rosgvardiya officer's return fire, he is in the hospital. Two others are the Magomed and Haskil Yakubov brothers; they are wanted.
