Crime boss Blondin found dead in Volgograd
Law enforcement authorities believe the death of the Traktorozavodskoy district underboss was not due to violence.
On the night of November 18-19 in Volgograd, a body of the Volgograd criminal authority Sergey Cherkasov nicknamed Blondin was found; in criminal circles, he was known as the underboss of the Traktorozavodskoy district of Volgograd.
According to Bloknot Volgograda citing a source in the law enforcement authorities, Blondin's death was not a violent one. Cherkasov died of a pulmonary embolism, i.e. obstruction of the pulmonary artery or its branches with thrombi.
The news agency notes that Blondin had extensive connections in the criminal world. Earlier, Cherkasov had been arrested for extortion, but no charges were brought against him. Later, Blondin was sentenced to two years in a penal colony for drug possession.

Both football players, as well as Kokorin’s brother Kirill and their friend Alexander Protasovitsky, who also participated in two scuffles in the center of Moscow on October 8, will remain in custody until February 8.
