Court prolonged arrest to manager of Kaspersky Lab and FSB staff
Defendants in the case over high treason will remain under guards for several months.
The Moscow Court extended arrest term to Sergey Mikhailov, head of one of divisions of the Federal Security Service of Center of Information Security (ISC) of the Russian Federation, his subordinate Dmitry Dokuchaev, and also manager of Kaspersky Lab Ruslan Stoyanov, TASS reported with reference to Ivan Pavlov, lawyer of one of the defendants in the case.
The lawyer did not specify the court where the hearing took place or the verdict reached. According to an informed source, the term of arrest to the defendant has been prolonged for several months.
To remind: Deputy Head of the ISC FSB Sergey Mikhailov, employee of CIS Dmitry Dokuchaev, another Deputy Head of the ISC, head of department of investigation of computer incidents of Kaspersky Lab Ruslan Stoyanov and one more defendant, yet to be identified, were arrested at the end of 2016 in the case of High Treason (Art. 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The Kuybyshevsky District Court of St. Petersburg is to consider the third case against Barsukov (Kumarin), as part of which he is charged with criminal community creation. Previously, the 'night governor of St. Petersburg' had been held in the Moscow's Matrosskaya Tishina pre-trial detention center. It is also reported that Barsukov is to be questioned in the case of Galina Starovoytova's murder.
