On Monday, in the case of the Federal Protective Service, Moscow’s Khamovniki court has ordered an independent motor mechanic expert examination to estimate the cost of remanufacturing of a Mercedes-Benz car. Thus, a motion brought by the defendant has been satisfied. With that, the plaintiff objected.
The proceedings on the case have been suspended for the duration of the examination.
The actor had to closely get acquainted with representatives of the Federal Protective Service after he had become a cause of a car accident involving 4 cars in October, 2016, on Kutuzovsky prospect. The actor’s insurance company paid some of the money that covered the car’s remanufacturing following the car accident. However, the rest of the money was collected from the causer of the accident.
The actor stated that he is committed to confrontation against the Federal Protective Service in court. He also stated that he is “unaware of the nature of the suit,” and is “not afraid of Federal Protective Service.” Yarmolnik added that this is a matter of principle, not money. He wants to figure out the reasons of the claims of the Service that appeared 2 years after the car accident.
Every big Russian city has ‘untouchable' people who are beyond the reach of the law enforcement authorities – generals, judges, mayors, etc. Despite overwhelming evidence sufficient to prosecute them, such persons cannot be busted without authorization from the federal center. There is also another type of corrupt officials: their deeds are well-known – but these people are so generous, hospitable, and understanding that no one is willing to arrest them.
