Court jails Kokorin for two months
Previously, the footballer had apologized to the victim and asked to let him make amends.
Alexander Kokorin was put in custody until December 8 (for two months), as had been his younger brother Kirill. The judge took into account the apology and remorse of the football player, his willingness to cooperate with the investigation, but considered it possible that the accused might attempt an escape. A separate proceeding will deliver the verdict of Pavel Mamaev very soon.
The trials are held in the Tverskoy Court of Moscow. Earlier it was reported that the police had detained two friends of the football players. One of them is Gennady Kuropatkin, who is suspected of causing damage to Vitaly Solovchuk’s car.
The hooliganism case have two counts: the attack on the Ministry of Industry and Trade official, Denis Pak, and the battery of Solovchuk, the driver of TV presenter Olga Ushakova.
