Court arrests man suspected of plane hijacking

The Khanty-Mansiysk District Court arrested Pavel Shapovalov, who is suspected of hijacking a passenger plane.
“It is decided to elect a preventive measure of two months — until March 22 — for Shapovalov, TASS cites Judge Rinat Akhmetov.
Shapovalov was detained the day before for attempting to hijack 737-8LJ.

Several new criminal cases against corrupt officials have been instituted in Dagestan.
