Court arrested two defendants in case of shootout in Moscow City
Eldar Hamidov and Magomed Ismailov were arrested.
The Presnensky District Court of the capital authorized the arrest of Eldar Khamidov and Magomed Ismailov, who are defendants in the case of a shootout in the Moscow City complex, on Wednesday, November 22. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Federation's Investigative Committee.
As representative of the agency Julia Ivanova noted, the court granted the investigation's request and placed the defendants under arrest until January 18, 2018.
Earlier it was reported that one of the wounded in the firefight Rosgvardiya officers died in the hospital.
Shooting in the Oko tower in Moscow City complex occurred on November 17 during the celebration of the anniversary of criminal 'authority' Dmitry Pavlov, known as Pavlik. In particular, the conflict broke out between the security officers of 'authoritative' businessman Gavriil Yushvaev, who came to congratulate the birthday person, and the Rosgvardiya officers, who were hired to guard the leader of the Izmaylovskaya gang.
Six people were injured during the shootout. The ICR initiated a criminal investigation into the Attempted Murder (part 3 of Article 30, Article 105 of the Criminal Code). Subsequently, two men of 1988 and 1977 were detained on suspicion of shooting.
After scaring Dagestan with inspections, arrests, and searches, the interdepartmental commission of the Prosecutor General’s Office and ICR has identified key priorities for the regional watchdog authority. After the crackdown on the old clan-based system, the management reforms became more constructive – however, another wave of criminal cases, terminations, and arrests is expected in the republic.
